My wife and I have owned three Bouviers. We feel that "Jackson" is the most gentle and loving of the three. My sister who shutters around dogs will pet and talk to Jackson. She says how nice he is. We attribute that to Carolyn and Jerry of Braveheart Bouviers . Our first two Bouv's were kennel raised with a minimum of human interaction. Jackson was raised by Carolyn and Jerry in the kitchen and constantly handled and socialized. Carolyn and Jerry have a very clean and well kept home. They treat each puppy as if they were going to keep them for themselves. When you go to see the puppies she requires you to wash your hands and remove your shoes to protect the puppies. Carolyn even works on potty training the puppies. We have had Jackson for a year now and can't praise him enough. We attribute his loving personality to Carolyn and Jerry and their careful breeding and puppy raising techniques. I would not hesitate to purchase another puppy from Braveheart Bouviers.

For all those who are looking to acquire a Bouvier, I highly recommend Carolyn and Jerry! I started my search for a Bouvier late in 2009 and while researching the breed and breeders I found BraveHeart Bouvier's. I was thrilled with the attention to health, temperament and the importance of preserving the breed standard. As a former dog breeder and currently a breeder of Maine Coon Cats, I am extremely cautious of puppy mills and weekend breeders that do not understand the value in the health and well being of the animals. I do not recommend breeders lightly, but Carolyn and Jerry clearly love their dogs and have put them first and foremost. I picked up my new puppy in March 2010, BraveHeart's Journey Quest "Teddy" and had a wonderful experience during the entire process. As anyone works through the due diligence of choosing a particular breed and the right breeder... ask lots of questions and do your homework. It will lead you back to BraveHeart.
